Dear Doll-face,
Work has been intense... and I've had some mega migraines to make it even more stressful. We were supposed to have a staff meeting today but it got pushed, so I don't really know when it will be. That's always anxiety inducing.
The trip to California is off. Trish isn't making the move. I'm sad, but it's not a huge loss. I've decided to go ahead and keep the time off request in the bin, maybe we can make a mini trip somewhere that weekend when it comes along.
For now we are slowly picking up the house and rearranging things. We've had a lot of people move in and out, and things feel a bit awkward, so we're moving some furniture out and around. We're even going through and pulling out things that we are getting rid of during city-wide pick up. Sadly it's been raining the past couple of days so we haven't finished the yard yet either. Now it's top priority though, because your brother is going to have to mow any day now.
Killer is still moody and frustrating, because he can't go outside. I've been thinking of hitting the pet store to look for a new toy for him. Their starting to do a little better with the timed feeding now that we've moved it into smaller amounts twice daily.
Bella got her first "hair cut" of the season to help with the hair in her hind quarters that tends to get messy and tangled in the summer. She'll get a bath in about a week or so. She's really starting to shed her winter coat off now.
Anyway, I'm making some mac and cheese, so to the kitchen I go.
